Hey
Take a look at the portal I have here: http://www.purelyreview.com/forum/portal.php
It displays forum announcements , but I have another page and want to have this announcement feature placed on that separate page.

I originally figured that the forum announcements uses a code especially for the portal. Since it uses this kind of code which starts and ends each annoucement:
Code:
<!-- start: portal_announcement -->
<!-- end: portal_announcement -->

So is there a way that I can put the forum announcements on my separate page to have the same effect with the portal page?

Hello!

I can't help since I can't see your templates.
The template codes usually don't work on simple HTML page, you might need to create a PHP page that can render the template codes.

Okay I'm going to look into what you said, but please don't close this thread.

I also have another question I can ask here.
How do I do something where you have a profile picture and when the mouse rolls over it, it displays text? Like something in javascript?

Does anyone have an answer to this question above? I know it has something to do with the onmouseover script. Be sure to get back to me on this. Wink
