XHTML - Lesson 5/5 Learn XHTML - Part 5 |
This is lesson 5 out of 5. Validation of XHTML documents To make sure that a XHTML document sticks to the rules, should we validate our document. A validation discovers a lot of fails, that you could have overlooked and ensures a better quality of the codes. Somehow can it also save you some time, to becoming aware of any fails. Maybe you already had tried to make a validation of your documents? The system for the XHTML is precisely the same. I recommended to use W3C's validator, to make a validation of one or your documents. You can either give a URL of upload the document you wish to get validated. A error could fx be a element written with big letters, then you'll exactly know witch column and line the error is on. After the whole of your document has been validated, after the standard, you can set this icon on your site: You are now ready to code your web solutions in XHTML! |
