You can use the # only not use the #top

@Jim,

Navigate to Admin CP > Display > Templates > General > overall_footer
Find this part of code there...

Code:
<!-- END switch_view_contact -->
                  {U_ABUSE} {U_BLOG}

Add the following code right after that part...

 | <a href="#" class="copyright">TOP</a>

Now save the template and publish it Smile Its done.
