A Web Designer is a person who responsible for the visual aspect of the website it means it knows how to attract the user through the attractive colors, fonts, images and page layouts. A Web Designer is only responsible for Designing structure of the web site.

A Web Developer is a person who responsible for Coding aspect of the website it means it knows how to build the website through the coding. A web Developer is a technical person and creates functionality in the website with the coding.

WordPress Designer

Web design is the customer-facing part of the website. A web designer is concerned with how a site looks and how the customers interact with it. Good web designers know how to put together the principles of design to create a site that looks great. They also understand about usability and how to create a site that customers want to navigate around in because it’s so easy to do.
Web Developer

Web development is the back-end of the website, the programming and interactions on the pages. A web developer focuses on how a site works and how the customers get things done on it. Good web developers know how to program CGI and scripts like PHP. They understand about how web forms work and can keep a site running effectively.

Avoid adding links unnecessarily in your posts. It is against the rules.

Being a web developer or a web designer doesn’t exactly give you an edge with the pretty girls (or guys) at your local pickup bar. If you were a part-time firefighter or investment banker, maybe. Nevertheless, the feud continues between web designers and web developers over which profession is the true calling. Like the yin and yang, these two are in constant battle to prove their dominance over the other, even when they work closely together.

Web style generally represents the procedure of developing a web page or website structure and often contains the visual components on a web page. The style can be designed using a design system such as Adobe Adobe photoshop, and provides the structure for the look and feel of a website.

Web progression is generally used to described the progression necessary to create the "back end" of a website. The again end is the area of the website that isn't seen by guests, but which does the work necessary to be able to provide the right information in the appropriate structure to the guests.

A web designer, for the most part, is only concerned with the visual aspect of the website – they know and understand what colors, fonts, images, and page layouts are the most aesthetically pleasing, and employ both their artistic merits and artistic experience to make the website as attractive as possible.
while, web developers help you build your website; again, they deal with the unseen coding aspect of a website, known as the back-end, and are primarily concerned with making a website function quickly, efficiently, and with the greatest stability. Moreover, many web-developers oversee and direct the construction of a website from its birth – again, it is up to them to build the backbone of the website, and ensure it functions properly.

Web Designer VS web developer:

A web developer, as the name indicates, “designs” a site and A web creator generally has a more powerful qualifications in development and, thus, is usually the one accountable for creating (building) powerful web websites that communicate with a information resource or other databases such as XML.

A web designer is a graphic artist who develops and styles objects for the Internet. Website designers are able to tap into their creative energy and design the overall layout and look for websites.

A web developer is one that develops applications and functionality for the Internet. It is rare to find a web developer that knows every programming language; web developers usually just focus on a few languages. Typically one developer will focus on the front end programming of a site using HTML, CSS and JavaScript while another developer will focus on server side programming like PHP, Java, Ruby, and .NET.
