Remove all the images of the navbar and then go to

ACP // DISPLAY // HOMEPAGE // STRUCTURE AND HIERARCHY // Display only images in the navbar: yes

Hi,

On punBB you can add this code to your CSS to remove navbar...

Code:
#pun-head{display:none;}

On phpBB2 you have to do it from templates. You need to go to overall_header template and remove the navbar code. It can be something like {GENERATE_NAVBAR} or something.
