Hi,

To make it appear on full screen you can edit the image in some image editor and make it bigger. It can't be done with coding.

A background, also called wallpaper, can be a pattern, texture, normal picture, in fact anything that is used as a background to place other images on or in front of it. Typically the term is used to describe the image which you have on your computer screen, or desktop as it is commonly called.
