Well i just thought so
because even the site's about a thing 'Graphics' 'Tutorials' & stuff
so as i've heared people usually rip the tuts or works & say that they created it in other sites Sad
& yeah thats when i created this topic
though i'm a n00b at codes but as i've heared there's a code for disabling right clicks?

Thank for the suggestion, Fred Very Happy

Yes, we can have a script that disables right click but it can be easily overridden by browser preferences. So it won't be much helpful.

ow too bad
then i guess you guys should add a rules saying
"don't forget to add your copyright mark when you create a tut"

Thats a good idea. If members forget to put copyright statement while submitting tut, admins can add it later.

If you check tutorial by sanket, we have the copyright statement in there.

I believe its best to first develop this site, and create some activity and time, before you have any tutorials present. Let the site have an online archive, and then submit tutorials, so if we have any rippers, DMCA officials can just check the archives.

Also, reducing perms on who can see that area would be the best thing now.

Reducing permissions? You mean allowing only members to see the tutorials?

Well, then tutorials will not be able to help us for SEO.
The most original content on this forum will be the tutorials and if we don't allow search engines to view/enlist them, its our loss silent

I don't get the idea of making online archive.

I think he meant, we give permissions after maybe 20 posts or so.
But, i think its ok for general members to view the content.

I don't like websites that disable right clicks, I copy & paste all over the place for various reasons.

That's true, and n00bs won't know how to refresh the page.. Razz
They han use Ctrl+R for refreshing, if they need it and right-click is disabled.

I need right click to open new tabs. So don't disable it.
