Is this possible? I want to shoot a photo with my girlfriend and give it to someone who can add a nice background(maybe a beach in hawaii, in front of a skycraper).. If it' s possible, will this look real or someone can clearly recognise that it' s just a background?

It's possible but how realistic it looks depends on that guy's skills.
