Hi guys, is it possible to place ads between forums or categories? It would be great to find anything like that or similar.

Hey, I'll check for any possibilities in templates. Please give me some time Smile

It might not be possible since the forum rows are generated dynamically though I'll try to find a way Very Happy

Yes you can. Create a new forum and enter the URL and IMG of the ad. It will be displayed.

For ex, x and z are forums.

Create a forum (y) and place it after x.
In the place where you write the forum's name, type in <a href="YOUR AD URL"><img src="YOUR AD IMAGE URL"></a>. Ad will be displayed. I'm not sure. Anyhw you try...

First of all, I'll move this topic to HTML forum since support is not provided in web design talk section after the rules update.

Topic Moved

I've found the way Wink
Navigate to Admin CP > Display > Templates > General > index_box.
Find this part...(found at bottom of all codes)

Code:
   <!-- END catfoot -->
   <!-- BEGIN tablefoot -->
</table>
<img src="{SPACER}" alt="" height="5" width="1" /><!-- END tablefoot --><!-- END catrow -->

You can put the ads code right after where the table tag is closed </table>. Its better to put a <BR> tag before you put the ads code there.

This will show ads at the end of each category table in your forum.

Hope this helps Very Happy

Thank sanket.
It was a bit difficult to sort out since the categories & forums are dynamically generated as per our settings in ACP.

Thank you so much mate, but this is putting the ads after every category, how to make it optional? I mean to put after just a couple or maybe at the end?

As ani said its a dynamic thing. It depends on owners how many categories they make. Its not possible to add it between certain categories & not between the rest.

O Okay,
I've checked that if you do'nt split the categories the ads only appears after all the forums and above the who's online. So can we edit the structure and hierarchy? through templates or css?
