Well, I don't know flash and I'm not aware any good resource to start learning it.

But I can suggest you to avoid learning flash if you want to use it for web designing, because use of flash in websites is going down day by day and technologies like JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 can do most the tasks that used to be done with flash.

I think the simplicity off the Youtube website is pretty good, not because the website is so damn good in functionality but just because the design is so sweet.

there are many sites that I like and really beautiful. But in real beautiful not only means from look it. A website must be user friendly, with up to date information, now a days specially a site should be SEO friendly.
