To make a charming PSD is not an easy job. This includes many elements like footer, sidebar, content area, navigation bar and header etc. After that modifying a psd to eCommerce template is a even more tougher. It becomes very important to know the file and folder structure of the eCommerce template. To convert a psd design into prestashop you have to understand overall Prestashop’s theme structure. Prestashop is a widely liked e-commerce software. Prestashop’s theme structure is supported by smarty, a php template engine. Approximately 130,000 shopping websites took advantage of prestashop. Theme structure of prestashop includes “.tpl” files. There is a “/themes” root folder in which all files of prestashop are stored. Every themes coding stores in sub folder in main themes folder. There is a /img folder in which files with extension .jpg, .gif, .png store. There is a js folder in which javascripts store. Minimum 30 pages are required to work Prestashop precisely http://blog.seosemanticxhtml.com/psd-to-prestashop-theme-conversion-understanding-the-basic-structure-of-a-theme/
