You probably need to code the html page first with the google calendar.

Hi Sanket I've now got the chat box added and it looks good although a little disappointed that there isn't any smileys with it, I've also managed by myself to add the youtube button and that works too, I want to add a portal to the forum but I don't want it on the index page? so any advice would be good, I'm also having a problem with this sort of code which worked on forumotion

but won't work on the new forum for those of you who don't know I not talking about a Forumotion forum? its phpbb 3 private hosting, so any tips on anything is useful, up to now I have had some help from a person in the US but he is very busy with school and he is getting expensive too so I need to learn very quickly or find help from someone else and I don't mind paying a fair price, anyway I'm sure there will be a lot more to come.

Hi Sanket I tried that but it doesn't seem to understand the [scroll1][/scroll1] command for some reason don't worry I added the "1" so it would show on the screen here I did change the size which worked as far a size was concerned but the scroll didn't it just printed [scroll1][/scroll1] at each end of the text? have you or anyone else had any thoughts about how I can add a Portal to the forum but not using the index/home page ?

I think you need to add it as a custom bbcode. You need to search on the original phpbb site on how to install custom bbcodes.
Remember, the scroll tag is defined on forumotion already.

Thank you again Sanket I have seen that topic before, but what I need to know is there a way I can add this to another page and not the index page, I have read through that topic and unless I missed it? it seems that that Portal is for the home page? I do realise that this may be able to be added elsewhere but that the question I need answering ? I have tried asking questions on that forum before but they only seem interested in helping those who already know? and not people like me who know very little, its a good thing its not like that here all on here are very helpful
