The way I see it I categorize power in this sense. It's like the atmosphere. I believe there is a point such as a barrier at which you transcend earthly attributes. I will demonstrate this using the atmosphere for example.
Super-beings with Super-powers Think of this as the Stratosphere and Mesosphere.~ Humans with enhanced mind and body. Super speed/strength, awareness, sensory projection, invisibility,
dodging bullets .
Ultra-beings with Ultra-powersThink of this as the Thermosphere.~ Beyond human. Posses powers far beyond the attributes of human beings. Their presence alone can shape their environment and everything else around them.
Here would be the barrier that separates the mortals from the immortals.
The definite from the infinite.
The men from the gods.Omni-beings with Omni-powersThink of this as the Exosphere. Transcending earthly realms into the infinite cosmos.~ Powers of life and death and the powers of time and space. Instead of living within reality, they bend it and even shape it.
So what I'm saying is once you become omnipotent with those specific powers, that's when you take the position of a god. You bend natural laws that should apply to us humans on a whim. No one should ever be able to manipulate time for righteous reasons, personal reasons, etc.
Suppose you rewind time so you when you leave for work you drive to avoid the traffic areas to get to work earlier. This could have very well preserved your life from a traffic accident. Suppose you wanted to prevent a war or a president's assassination...
The outcomes are Incalculable; your actions - Irreparable.
All things in due time must happen.
Sorry for the rant, but I hope someone gets where I'm coming from.
