PS tuts different for cs3 or cs5?

I have been reading some really interesting tuts for metallic,3d logos for adobe photoshop.Most of them mention that are for cs4 or cs5 version.I wont be able to create these since i own photoshop cs3?

i don't think so... most of the (almost all, in my case) the tutorials which i saw on the INTERNET was easily executable in cs3 (though the tut's were for cs4 / cs5)

Yeah like Dimon said most of the tutorials that you find will be bale to be done in CS3. Its only the very specific things you wont be able to do. Such as 3D repousse...
