Im not trying to be negative or a party popper but the forum isnt what it use to be.... It would be a shame to see this thing go to waste, all the work put into it!

An interesting observation...

Why do you think WebArtz is "dying"? From what I can tell, WA is resting at a steady pace. We have several active members, and we nearly always have guests viewing the site.

I will agree that some of the users have not come online in a while, although there are a fair amount of regulars on here. Its good to see you care about the activity of the forum. So got any ideas to make our old members come online??

WebArtz won't die. All the members & staff have put in equal efforts to make this forum what it is today So there is nothing to worry.

Oh well thats good to hear, its just its a great service and lots of awesome tuts. So well its should be going awesome. Its just It seems a little more inactive than before? Im not that sure tho.

Well, we're trying our best by providing good contests with good prizes... though, all forums would come into this stage/or the part that a forum will become quite inactive, but it's a part forum life on the net.. and yep, I don't think WA is gonna die... There's still a long road for us

Well ofcourse, I supose its a slump.

The statestics aren't increasing as much as they used to, but I don't think WebArtz is dying - it's just a phase

I (highly) doubt its going to die... EGO, went (practically still is going) through the same, or similar phases, as WA.

I have no idea what WA is doing behind the scenes, but I have no doubt that they know what they're doing.

But back on topic: I agree that the lack of activity compared to other sites is simply a "phase". You also have to look at the demand for the products that WA offers. The start of February brings about the need for high-school and college students (which make up the majority of users on WA and other Forumotion boards) to focus on their school studies more so than their internet hobbies and online socializing. I've also noticed that there are a lot more websites claiming to provide expert services in graphic and web design. You have Ego-One, WebArtz, Graphics Spot, Graphics-Post, CreativeLabz, iGraphics, and close to 50 other graphics forums advertised on Forumotion alone.

The fact is, if a website has nothing unique to offer, then it will start out slow at first. Facebook rocked the internet because it was something more than MySpace. It offered college students a new way to directly connect with one other based on similarities. It had a purpose, a unique audience, and a dedicated team.

WebArtz has the dedicated team, and it has a purpose. But the audience is not unique. I see 50 different graphics and coding forums that are pitching the same thing to the same group of people. This is what's causing the slump we and other communities like us are caught in.

Its elementary, really.

I agree with RecAgenda. School >(Greater than) Internet. I'm sure everything is fine...

OFFTOPIC : I'm working on something pretty unique... More like few projects that are unique, but one more leaning towards for Forumotion Forum owners... ;‍)

I think I know why cuz when they asking for help and other ppl making fun of them Sorry to say this but WA as change a lot.

I think most of forums stuck now. 3 of my popular forums are not active after New Year. Why? I dont know. Ppl seems busy.
