You should make a themes section, because there is not alot of punbb on hitskin and I want other people to make cool themes so people can install on there site.

I understand its cool option to have, but lets look seriosu now, shall we? This forum doesent have graphic designers, I dont count admin, so you cant expect they spend time doing PunBB designs for you. Very Happy

Agreed.

We are in lack of graphic designers at the moment. Even if we have designers, designing themes isn't an easy tasks. It takes lots of effort and time. I'm not sure who is going to work on themes and offer them for free.

I agree with you ankillien. Themes take a lot of time, even members just think , hey i can make design in 15 minute. Its not true. When i work on design, even I am mega amateur, I work hour, or more, because I need inspiration to do something.

I agree with you ankillien. But there's not to much PunBB themes on hitskin.com because there to much PhpBB2 and I want more PunBB themes

Thats right, but we don't have so many designers who can work on themes and submit them to hitskin.

Creating a theme doesn't consist of just customizing colors, backgrounds and borders; it requires some special effort for each new creation to make it unique.

So true, we cant make every forum same, we need for every different body part, different design, maybe some cool javascript and etc.

My vote is NO. Sorry. Like Mr.Joker and ankillien said, there's not enough graphic designers. You have the admins and Mr.Joker and a couple of others, but they I don't think that they would be willing to spend hours upon hours to just go "You can have it free even though it cost me hours to make this."

Sorry. If this was full of graphic designers, then I would possibly think about voting yes, but there aren't many.

A theme section requires a strong and dedicated team to work on it. We have no plans to have a theme section right now.
