The admins and mods on this forum are limited, and I'm guessing you guys are too busy in real life to properly manage this forum. How about promoting a few really active and helpful members to moderator status, or create a "Volunteer Moderator" rank. You could even limit the permissions. But other players seem to look up to higher ranks.

Even if they only had a couple of mod privileges, that would be fine. I just think this would be a really good idea.

EDIT: I mean people that are constantly active, not people with a high post count. People that maybe have tutorials. People that are recommended by other members for help. Like Mr.Joker. He is constantly helping people, me included.

I think the forums are pretty well moderated right now. We don't even have lots of posts everyday that need to be moderated so I personally don't think we need more mods.

Many staff members are busy in personal life (which is fine) but the forums are running smoothly.

To make the forum 'alive', we need more active members and not moderators Smile

Ok sorry but I'm not one of those active members anymore. I wish I was, but I don't have the time at the moment.
I'm not sure if this forum needs another moderator group, but sure I understand where you are going with the idea.
Instead of having a another moderator group, I would have added a promoter group, where their only job is to join up other forums and post info and advertise this forum.

That's actually a good idea Green CoW. I advertise for free anyway. Maybe the admins could consider this idea instead.

As this is a similar suggestion and still my thread, I would like to adjust the suggestion to Active and Helpful members as promoters.

Thank you RSguideMaker for the concern on our forum. I can only say that we staffs are doing our best to make this forum very good and you guys know that. Yes, you are right. Like me, I am very busy in real life right now but I am still doing and giving my best to do my duties and responsibilities here on webartz having a rank of moderator.

Anki is right. "The forums are pretty well moderated right now."

And if a member really deserves the moderator position, he/she will get a notice from the admins.

Promoters group is a very good idea.

I agree with Ankillien. It takes active Members to keep a forum alive. The more moderators they have then the less members they have to moderate.

Yes that is a fair point, hence why I changed the topic title to promoters. So then we can get more members. I am in the process of making a promotion video at the moment, and I will run it by the staff before it goes live.

I'm the only one who voted for no. Smile

Thought that this forum already has the mods it needs to function. That's my opinion.
