To build a network of customers and potential customers, we use a number of Social Media Marketing strategies. Here are a few mistakes that need to be avoided at all costs.
Insufficient Content – No matter how many accounts you have and how big they are, people will not share or link to your content if they do not find the content interesting, catering to their needs and/or with sufficient info.
Too Frequent Updates – Go for quality, not quantity. Too many updates can taper off the interest of your readers – they see you all the time.
Not Interacting With Followers – Respond to the queries and suggestions of the readers, they want to participate. If you don’t, you risk appearing as a not-so-dedicated guy who can be ignored.
Respect Competition – You aren’t the only one in your niche, or out there on the internet, trying to promote your stuff. Acknowledge and respect others. You’ll learn from their approaches and mistakes.
Not Analyzing – Gauge the success of your SMM campaigns, explore how many clicks they bring in for your website. This way, you’ll be able to find the flaws in the strategy, and alter them.
Be Original – Don’t just recycle/repost popular articles. Write them from your heart and make sure each helps out your readers.
