PNG images are all transparent. How do i make the above transparent?

It can be done when you remove it's background with some transparent making eraser (I'm not joking) , they're in graphic editing software normally ,
And just saving the file in PNG doesn't make it transparent you actually need to remove the background completely.
Or there's a easy way ,

kk first I'll explain it this way:

MSPaint(also known as paint) cannot save PNG's.

GIMP, all you need to do is erase the background. Say you have text on the above layer, and a white background underneath. Erase the white and leave the text, then save as a PNG. (File>Save As> WhateverNameYouWant.png)

Photoshop. Explanation needed?

Ok so I did it for you Joel:

Ok so here is what I did on GIMP:

- Edit Layer --> Add Alpha Channel

-Selected the Image with Free Select

- Invert the Selection

- Erase background

- Save as .png

Ta da!
