Had an argument with my friend because he made this statement - "Humans in a bunch are just pure evil waiting to happen."

First I contemplate what it means to be beings of emotion rather than logic. Emotional bonds lead the way to feelings of passion. Love and hatred; sympathy and apathy; good and evil; all boil from the same pot. What fuels the pot is the "dark triad" the roots of all evil: Money (loosely speaking any kind of resources), Love, and Religion (loosely speaking any kind of held beliefs).

How is this justice that one family may live peaceably, while another family starves. Or justice that while one man lives free another man spends his days wasting away in the hospital. Just by living people hurt others and don't begin to realize it.

Can any man see another without first seeing himself; can any man dig another man's grave without digging a second grave for himself? Who is any person to determine what is fair and how to deliver justice? Justice is about being made equals, it is about walking the proverbial shoes of another. Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand. Therefor, who can deliver justice fairly without them sounding hypocritical?

The essence of human nature is defined by seeking the common good for your fellow man. I know what humans are capable of, but I firmly stand by that human beings are by nature good.

Spent most of my day at the hospital receiving several pints of blood.

I'm listening to that children's song "Row Your Boat." "Life is but a dream," are the lyrics to that song... “Life” could be all an illusion until the day we "die." We ask about death but what of the countless times we have fallen asleep or why we went to sleep to begin with. For example, what started the Big Bang? Could it have been nothing that created all that ever was and all that will ever be in the universe.

From the chaos of nothing brought our environment, our futures - every chance or possibility that we could ever have... We are only able to observe the existence of our reality because our said reality is inconsequential; the things we say in life that "happen for a reason" could be nothing more than mere arbitration..chaos as some might choose to call it.


And yet .. we try to lean on some complicated, yet fragile order of truth or reason for our existence in the universe. Henry David Thoreau said it best when he wrote that no man stands on truth; rather he binds himself to things that collectively lead to nothing..
