Hey,

I wanna ask if someone has worked on a SoundClick website? I know a lot of producers but I'm not sure how to make a site.
I know how to code and design in GIMP but I don't know the structure of the site like what it contains and things like that.
So if anyone knows a good tutorial on how to make one from scratch or if you got time to explain then I would appreciate it a lot!

Sure (www).soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=1113946 (remove brackets in the link) is an example website with that kind of a layout. I want to know how do I code it like is it basic html and css or something else?! Also how do I manage the files (is the CSS internal or external...)?

Most the website layouts are based on HTML and CSS. You have to use these two languages. In addition, you can use javascript/jquery for interactive elements like drop-down menus or sliders etc.

Also, you might want to use flash for multimedia things like a musing player. You can even use HTML5, if you know.

Thanks, but I already know that lol. Yeah I know how to convert PSD to HTML but I don't know can I use external files or just one HTML file and write everything in it? Also do you have any recommendations on how to master CSS (float is bugging me I don't understand it clearly)?

Its better to use external CSS and javascript files instead of writing those codes in the HTML file itself.

Flash is a software with which you can create add interactive elements on your site like music/video player etc. But you can use HTML5 alternatively.
