I don't know what your blog is about, nor what you want on your banner. So I have created clean header and shiny text.

I have put opacity of the background to maybe 10-20% and I have made text look shiny and nice on rainbow background. If you don't like it just tell what you want.

I can understand you will get problems adding a logo to that header, since every color you got there in the rainbow is a table... That's 29 tables for your header...
