But the buttons are a bit too small for me :S

Very basic and colors arnt really nice but we all start somewhere. Kepp it up!

To add a glow in GIMP, Select alpha to selection on the text layer, make a new layer and arrange it under the text layer, go to select -> glow and glow it by 1 pixel, then fill it in the desired color. Next go to filters -> blur -> Gaussian blur, the default should be OK, so just click OK. Then just merge the text and the glow layer and you are done!

The boarder makes a really nice edge, even on a white background, and the slightly increased shine just adds the final awesomeness Smile
