This is my first website and I have some specific ideas I want to try on it. One of them was - when a user clicked on a specific link, a new window like a pop up window but without the title bar, would open up and show the content just like in the image below.
How to open a stationary window in the middle of the browser window with the previous page present as the background image? Captur10


This image is an example of how I want the window to appear on the screen. The page on which the link is is shaded over and becomes non-interactive which is taken as the background and a window opens up in the center of the page with only the close button.

Can anyone tell me what I have to use to get this page.
