So, I purchased Invision Power Board today, and I have to say..I'm really really impressed the the functionality of it both from the admin and users point of view. The ACP is just amazing! It's very efficient and has an awful lot of features that even phpBB don't have. Plug-ins are easy to make for the system too, I've coded about 3 plug-ins in around 1 hour so pretty fast considering the system it self is very complex!

Also, it was very easy to install and there's nothing to CHMOD which is always good in my opinion. Has built in syntax highlighting, so no more messy code. The code box also allows you to use the tab key!!!

However there is one downside the theme are pretty hard to make for it, but to be honest I really like the default theme that comes with it, it's cleat, stylish and awesome color, but and easy way to customize it is to just place your own logo where the IPB one used to be I got a commercial licence which cost me around £2,000 but for that I can use it unlimited times (a standard license is only $149.99) so I have a few forums in mind. One been of course a coding one and the other a photography one. Also, nearly everything that has a pop-up is already in pretty box for you, so no more ugly windows or mac default pop-ups, they ease in and out with jQuery too

So I hoped I gave you a good idea of how good IPB is and inspired you to use it (NOT ON FORUMOTION!!!!)

IPB is a great web Design! i ave been making websites wincce i was 11! i started with Webs Which isnt that good conpared to some of the sruff i do now but still goodluck with your site!

IPB is probably one of the best out there for forum software. Good job on buying it

As for theming it, it isn't that hard. You just need firebug or if you have chrome the development tools, and lots of time.
